Dungeons and Dragons Comparison

It has been interesting indeed to further dive into the leisure space, as further feedback from critics have been received for the Legend of Fantasopia | Chamber of Winds.

Since being released in October 2023, the Legend of Fantasopia has since been played by many and has captivated the hearts of many.

But all in all, whats the goss all about?

Well, interesting enough, it has been compared to other leisure games to favourites such as Monopoly and Dungeons and Dragons. So, finding abit of time to answer our beloved followers, here's abit of an outlook and quick snapshot.

Firstly, why Monopoly? Good question. Firstly, the trading system in this strategic mind game does not come in the form of exchanges in currency. However, it can slightly be identified that some of the items you need to collect are in iconic forms of monopoly cards and the possibility of needing to collect items, however, that can not be truely decoded.

Secondly, why Dungeons and Dragons? Indeed another good question. Throughout the year, the Dungeons and Dragons phenomena returned mid-way through 2023, with followers approaching 💎 Affinity curious to know if Dungeons and Dragons has an ending. As many conversations stirred within the community and gaming world, at that point in time, 💎 Affinity's response was, 'no idea'. Some of the flashbacks of the Dungeons and Dragons memories came about between 1993 to 1996, playing Dungeons and Dragon at the local Funzone or arcade parlour but never having enough savings as a 10 year old to try to being able to 'clock it'. The experience was amazing as you got to have the choice to choose between 4 characters and work your way through the levels to complete it.

The second flashback was then when Dungeons and Dragons was actually playable in your own home, between 1994 to 1996 on the sega mega drive. However, vaguely remember finishing it, as in the days of being able to go up to the video shop to hire the game came costly as did home chores trying to earn a dollar. As the price from Video Ezy, the video shop, back in those days were $2 to hire a game for over night. But even then, trying to get time to get access to the video game was lengthy, if you are in a line up of a large gaming family with one tv for gaming and one mega drive. So did not quite get to manage completing it.

But 💎 Affinity also did magically happen to stumble across a Dungeons and Dragons Guidebook 'after' the release of the Legend of Fantasopia | Chamber of Winds at the local gaming parlour. When gathering information it was analysed in some similarities of keys and chambers. To surprise it did not really give much information about characters, except more focus on the different types of dragons. In further unknowingly giving an answer for an ending. Which is supportive as you really do not want to give away the ending to a movie before it comes out.

In supporting that view, 💎 Affinity is not the type to give away the ending in being supporters of leaving things be a mystery or suspense for each adventurer to discover on their own journey.
